Visitor Policies

Welcome to the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. The center is committed to providing memorable experiences to every visitor that walks through our door. The policies outlines here are in place to ensure that our center can provide a safe place for all to enjoy.

General Reminders

  • Art is all around you. Please be mindful. Remember to look, not touch.

  • All facilities are wheelchair accessible. Please use our elevator, located near the front desk area.

  • Food and drink are permitted in all spaces. Please be mindful of spills and messes.

  • Tours must be scheduled prior to visitation. Call 920-921-5410 to schedule a tour.

Censorship & Freedom of Expression

THELMA believes that engaging with people and perspectives different from our own enhances our understanding of the world and ourselves. We are committed to supporting freedom of thought, speech, and expression at our facility, within the bounds of the law and this policy. All guests are welcome to speak, listen, challenge, and learn, provided they continue to treat others with courtesy and respect as outlined in the visitor code of conduct policy below.

Visitor Code of Conduct

THELMA is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all guests, artists, staff, and volunteers. All guests are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect, comply with staff instructions, and follow the guidelines below.
Disruptive Patron Conduct
Patrons who engage in disruptive behavior, including but not limited to intoxication, harassment, threats, or refusal to follow staff instructions, may be asked to leave the premises, which may occur without a refund. THELMA staff and management reserve the right to deny entry or service to any individual whose conduct threatens the safety or enjoyment of others.
Appropriate Attire
Guests must wear a shirt, shoes, and pants/skirt/dress at all times while in the building. 
Prohibited Items
Weapons, illegal substances, and outside food and beverages, are not permitted without prior authorization. Staff reserve the right to inspect bags upon entry.
Health and Safety
Guests must comply with all posted health and safety guidelines and follow staff direction during emergencies or evacuations.
Ticketing and Seating
For ticketed events, guests must present a valid ticket when requested and sit only in their ticketed seats. Late arrivals will be seated at staff discretion to minimize disruption.
Enforcement
Failure to comply with these policies may result in removal from the premises without refund. THELMA staff and management reserve the right to determine appropriate action based on the nature and severity of the conduct.

Photo & Video Policy

Visitors are permitted to take photographs or film for personal, non-commercial use. All other uses require prior permission from the Executive Director. Press image and filming inquiries should be made to the Director of Marketing, or you can submit a request to do photo shoots in THELMA in the contact us form at the bottom of the page. Please show consideration for the privacy and experience of other visitors when taking photographs.

Privacy Policy

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts is committed to the protection of your privacy on this website. This site does not collect personal information such as names and email addresses unless individuals knowingly provide that information.

The privacy policy may be revised at any time. We may revise the policy in response to changes in the law or other factors. We encourage website users to periodically visit this page to review the most current policy.
