Youth Programming
THELMA is proud to offer meaningful opportunities for young people to discover their creative voice. Our Children's Chorale builds musical skills and confidence through the joy of singing together, while OnStage @ THELMA invites young performers to explore theater, movement, and storytelling. We're also excited to be growing our offerings to include visual arts programming for children. Stay tuned for more ways for kids to create, imagine, and express themselves at THELMA!
Children's Chorale
The Fond du Lac Children’s Chorale is a community children’s chorus comprised of fourth through eighth-grade students from Fond du Lac and the surrounding communities, interested in performing and studying high-quality choral music.
Founded in 1997 as a project of the Fond du Lac Arts Council, it is a resident ensemble of the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Meet the Staff
Eva Thelen-Dunphy, Artistic Director
Eva began violin lessons at age 5 and later found her voice in vocal performance and choral conducting, earning a Music degree from Marian University. She directs the choir at Holy Family Parish, performs as a soloist with the Lighthouse Big Band, Fond du Lac Symphonic Band, and Heart of the Nation Masses, and fronts the jazz combo "Eva and the Swizzle Sticks" at THELMA. She also directs THELMA's "On Stage" children's theater camp and serves on the Fond du Lac Community Theater board. Eva lives in Fond du Lac with her husband Michael and their two children.
Paul Thelen, Accompanist
Paul is Director of Liturgy and Music for Holy Family Parish and has taught piano privately and at Marian University. He performs with the Lighthouse Big Band, in community theater, and with his three daughters as the Thelen Sisters. A dedicated supporter of THELMA, he received the James C. Hubbard Windy Award in 2022.
