About The Event
A review of Chicago-based (but Fond du Lac native!) MV Wells' newest album, Le Dauphin, describes Wells as always having a "knack for hooks" and "His [vocals] carry a dry, knowing tone, equal parts charm and side-eye, pulling from the tradition of pub rock lifers like Nick Lowe and Wreckless Eric while staying rooted in the Midwest scenes that shaped him."
