THELMA to host student piano recital for Fond du Lac teachers

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (THELMA) is partnering with the Fond du Lac Piano Teacher’s Association to present a joint student recital in THELMA’s Great Hall Sunday, April 23.

The free recital will be held from 1 to 5 pm. The public is welcome to attend any part of the recital and view the art in the Contemporary Wing.

This is the third annual recital held at THELMA and we are proud to do so, said Kris McLain, one of the teachers.

“A gratefully received free-will offering will go toward THELMA’s Piano Fund,” McLain said.

Students from age 5 to 18 will perform a variety of selection from compositions they have studied or pieces they have played for competitions.

Students of the following teachers will be performing: McLain, Barb Gray, Georgene Antos, Helen Gilsdorf, Ruth Koepsell, and Wendy Pelletier.

THELMA is located at 51 Sheboygan St., in the heart of Downtown Fond du Lac’s Arts and Entertainment District. THELMA is a member-based, privately-funded non-profit dedicated to providing experiences not readily available in the area. Intimate concerts in the Great Hall, street concerts with major performers, indoor films, and art from world-renowned artists are available at THELMA. THELMA also offers a stunning backdrop for weddings, meetings and all social and corporate gatherings.
