Special promotions part of THELMA’s virtual telethon October 30
Thelma Sadoff Center of the Arts (THELMA) announced several special promotions as part of the Virtual Telethon – THELMA Style, an event held in place of the in-person fundraiser Windy Dinner THELMA Style.
“Our annual fundraiser is always fun and we are working to bring that fun to your home. Some promotions you can take advantage of now and some on the evening of the telethon October 30,” said Jacqui Corsi, THELMA’s Executive Director.
The telethon includes live music with Eva and the Swizzle Sticks, an auction, plus a mix of live action and pre-recorded videos with some of THELMA’s favorite artists, sponsors and supporters.
The music lineup includes performances by Jimmy Voegeli of The Jimmys, Ben Majeska of Armchair Boogie, Danny and Michelle Jerabek of Copper Box, the WhiskeyBelles and a special guest star.
THELMA is encouraging watch parties
The first five people who contact us who are hosting their own watch party the evening of October 30 will get a private performance by Eva and Swizzle Sticks. The band (made up of mostly the Thelen family) will Zoom into your watch party between 6 pm and 6:45 pm and perform one song for your party. Call THELMA during regular business hours at 920.921.5410 to be one of the lucky parties.
Giveaways for contribution
Individual donors who give $500 will receive a THELMA swag bag which includes a gift certificate from a local restaurant or retail shop. This giveaway is sponsored by Tom Herre.
Individual donors who contribute a minimum of $1,000 will receive a bottle of wine from THELMA’s cellar plus two THELMA wine glasses or a bucket of craft beer – the bucket and wine box will feature the work of a local artist in a one-of-a-kind painted design.
The telethon is free to attend and open to all. Signing up is free at onecau.se/Thelma.
THELMA will be working with local restaurants to provide curbside pickup as well as the event’s customary caterer Shully’s to offer a special meal for participants. Details will be released soon. Participants are encouraged to bring their meal and beverages home and tune into the telethon at 7 pm.
