Amber Waas to handle rental sales of THELMA

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (THELMA) announced that beginning immediately Amber Waas will handle rental sales of THELMA.

Waas is taking over duties previously done by Jacqui Corsi, who has been promoted to executive director.

Waas has been with THELMA since February 2016 when she was hired as event coordinator. She was later promoted to Manager of Event Services. Waas came to THELMA with a decade of hospitality experience, including at Walt Disney World Resort where she was a certified Disney Trainer. Prior to THELMA, she worked at Heidel House Resort in Green Lake.

“Amber’s experience, attention to detail, and empathy for our guests raises the bar for service provided at THELMA,” said Jacqui Corsi, THELMA’s Executive Director. “She approaches every event with a level of importance and a professional attitude to ensure that THELMA provides a venue for a successful event for our guests.”

She will continue to work at weddings, corporate meetings and social gatherings as well as book them. Waas is assisted by Morgan Zurmond, a recent graduate of University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, who is THELMA’s event coordinator.
