Cool Jewels (Intermediate/Advanced)

This is a workshop for those with advanced experience in metalworking. It is a six-week course on April 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28 from 6 – 9 pm.
Create your own wearable works of art! Explore the many possibilities of metals; soldering, fold forming, stone setting, etching, patinas and more. All materials and tools (with the exception of sterling silver) will be provided. Basic knowledge of metal working is recommended.
Pat Reiher has been an active artist/teacher in the community for over 35 years. She taught high school art at the Springs, Continuing ED classes at UW-FDL and additional workshops in the community and the region. Her work is in several private collections and galleries and she continues to exhibit in regional art shows.
Materials to bring
- Sketchbook or paper for working up designs
- Pencils and eraser
- Any special small objects might like to incorporate into your designs
Class size: 5-10 students
The six-week course fee is $175 ($140 for THELMA members).
