Copper Box
Feb 12 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Copper Box is a quartet based in Oshkosh, WI and was started in 2002 with co-founders, Danny & Michelle Jerabek.  Danny Jerabek grew up performing in his dad’s band at the early age of 9 and was self-taught on button accordion (currently endorsed by Hohner Accordions), drums, trumpet, sax, etc.  He married Michelle Thull, who also performed in her dad’s family band and they started Copper Box so they could be together on stage.  With the help of a few other very talented musicians (currently, Dan Cable (DC) on drums and Dave Chyla on bass), Copper Box continues to deliver a punch in entertainment and musicality, playing familiar songs with a twist in a multi-genre accord (polka-rock-blues), as well as their own originals for concerts and events.

Davina and The Vagabonds
Feb 18 @ 8:00 pm
So much more than just a blues act, Davina and the Vagabonds’ shows are filled with New Orleans charm, Memphis soul swagger, dark theatrical moments and tender gospel passages. Davina’s voice and stage presence defy category in a different way. Davina has been compared to Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, and Billie Holiday, but comparisons don’t suffice: she is a true original.

“One of the most distinctive and expressive vocalists to come around in a while, with tight backing from the Vagabonds,” – Phoenix Blues Society.

Erin Krebs Quintet
Mar 25 @ 8:00 pm
Erin Krebs Quintet will be performing at THELMA on March 25 starting at 8 pm.

In 2016, Jazziz Magazine wrote that Erin Krebs “may be a best-kept secret of her native Wisconsin“. It seems the word is out, as this dynamic performer is well on her way to becoming one of Wisconsin’s premier and most treasured vocalists. Ranging from sultry jazz stylings to bebop scat to belting out the Blues, her performances exude confidence and a passion for life that audiences instantly recognize as genuine and heartfelt.  Recently, Erin was awarded the WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Female Vocalist of the Year for 2019 and in 2018 the  Erin Krebs & Jeff Johnston Duo was recognized as the  2018 Jazz Artist of the Year.  Erin was also a nominee for Female Vocalist of the Year (2016, 2017, 2018) and Jazz Artist of the Year in 2017.

Erin often works in a duo with her partner, guitarist Jeff Johnston. With 30 plus years of performing, he has developed a well-traveled musical fluency that compliments Erin’s extensive repertoire and songwriting style. Together, Erin and Jeff provide a dynamic and versatile musical experience for their audience! While she primarily works with Jeff, Erin has a Jazz group, sings in Jeff’s blues band, and with a big band- The Water City Jazz Orchestra.  Over the years, she has been a featured guest with several local groups, including: The Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra, The Jazz Orgy, UW-Oshkosh Jazz Ensembles, Fond du Lac Symphonic Band, and more.  Erin’s debut album, Love Always Wins, was released in June 2016 and contains 11 original Jazz, Blues, and R&B songs.  In 2017, Erin & Jeff released a All is Calm– an EP of Christmas carols and 2 original songs performed by the duo.
