Novie Trump: The Weight of Air
The Weight of Air explores the impact human development has had on the natural world, in ways often invisible to us. Site-specific installations of porcelain objects, some integrated with sound and light, are used to explore themes of lost habitat, disrupted migration patterns and disappearing animal populations.
Classically trained in archaeology, Novie Trump examines the relationship of light and dark, loss and hope, birth and death and rebirth through porcelain creations.
Exhibit Dates: September 10 - December 29
Reception is free.
